A Rosa dos Ventos, tells the story of my grandmother’s emigration from Galicia to Montevideo at the age of thirteen. Her story has had a great impact on my memory, as well as the issue of emigration. I went back to where she was born and where she lived before leaving. I am faced with these two worlds, fable, and documentary, which contradict each other and challenge its history.
